You know what no one wants to hear? “It’s cancer.”
Those words hit like a freight train, sudden, heavy, and life-altering. In an instant, everything changes. You’re left feeling overwhelmed, behind, and unsure of what comes next. People often describe cancer as a rollercoaster and that couldn’t be more true.
That’s why Tim and I launched OPF Cancer Cares. We were thrown into this world with zero preparation and found ourselves navigating cancer with a 2 month-old, a 2 year-old, and no idea where to begin or where to turn. If you or a loved one now find yourselves in that same place, you’re not alone. You have us.
What OPF Cancer Cares Offers:
Care & Courage Kits
We send our kitds to active duty military, veterans, first responders, and their immediate family members (spouse or children) undergoing cancer treatments whether it’s chemo, infusions, or other therapies.These one time bags are filled with items meant to comfort, uplift, and remind you that you are not fighting alone.Resource Assistance

Our Future Mission:
We’re working toward offering holistic wilderness wellness retreats for cancer patients and their families at our future OPF property in Montana. These retreats will provide a chance to decompress, find peace in nature, and connect with others who understand what you're going through, creating space for healing, community, and hope.
What’s a Care & Courage Kit?
A Care & Courage Kit is filled with items to make the patient’s day easier and more enjoyable. The bag will include donated items from organizations and businesses as well as a staple items that we personally know make a difference such as snacks, socks, ice mittens/boooties, and activities to keep the mind busy. Each bag will be different based on available inventory and resources.
